Okay so this week was a pretty big week for technophiles and gamers alike. Unless you have been living in some cave, or are otherwise unworthy then you knew that this week was E3 week, an exciting time of the year when developers release information on upcoming technology, consoles and games.
Nintendo revealed some information on Project Cafe, which is now official titled the “Wii U”. Just like the original Wii, Nintendo did some out-of-the-box thinking and created a revolutionary touchscreen pad like controller that offers some unique options for games to come. Read more about the Wii U here.
Microsoft also made some pretty big announcements regarding Xbox Live. The Xbox 360 dashboard will be getting re hauled to better improve the Xbox experience, and they will be adding ‘beacons’ so that no matter what your doing on your Xbox you can let your friends know you are trying to play a game. Cloud Saves will enable you to play your saved games from any console, without gamer-tag recovery, which is huge and one update I am looking forward to. Then of course there are all the new games coming: Modern Warefare 3, Bioshock Infinite and the Kinect powered Roman revolution game from Crytek that I am excited about, Ryse.
A lot more happened this week, and more updates are to follow. Don’t forget to follow 1116 on twitter @1116ArtStyle, and ‘Like’ us on Facebook now!
